
Camila is a mental health clinician who provides assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents, families, and young adults. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She holds a Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Adler, a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Psychology with a concentration in Counselling and Mental Health from York University. She is also an Ontario Certified Teacher.
Camila’s clinical practice is grounded in a relational and integrative approach, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. She draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, and DBT, while tailoring her work to each client’s developmental stage, strengths, and individual needs. She supports clients experiencing a range of concerns, including emotional dysregulation, behavioural challenges, anxiety, ADHD, learning challenges, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to thoughtfully consider the emotional, social, developmental, and academic experiences that shape children and adolescents. She also recognizes the important role that supportive relationships play in well-being and values close collaboration with caregivers and families.
Camila is passionate about creating a warm and compassionate space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. She believes that every individual has a unique story and considers it a privilege to work alongside clients and families as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop practical strategies that foster resilience and meaningful growth.
