Dr. Kathryn Pierce is a clinical psychologist in supervised practice registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She provides individual therapy to adolescents and adults.
She completed her master’s and PhD in Clinical Developmental Psychology at York University, where her research focused on attachment-based parenting interventions and relational models of care for children in school-based day treatment programs. Her clinical training has included placements at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), the Toronto Metropolitan University Student Counselling Centre, North York General Hospital, and the York University Psychology Clinic, as well as in private practice.
Kathryn has experience treating clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and relationship difficulties. She also works with individuals who may not have a clear label for their distress but feel that something isn’t quite right.
Her approach is relational and collaborative, grounded in psychodynamic, attachment-based and cognitive behavioural therapies. She works with deep respect for how past experiences shape the present and aims to offer a thoughtful, steady presence as clients explore what’s going on in their lives and what feels important to them.
